Are you a local Whistler painting company?

Yes. We’re based at 15, 1370 Alpha Lake Road, Whistler, BC V8E 0H9. Our crew lives and works here. We are not a Lower Mainland outfit that drives up for the job and disappears after. We provide painting services year-round from Squamish to Pemberton.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

Of course. We are fully insured, carrying $5 million in liability insurance and full WCB coverage for every crew member. We are WHMIS-certified, fall-protection-trained, and lift-certified. We are also a bonded residential and commercial painting company. If something unexpected happens on a job site, you’re covered.

The Painting Process and Scheduling

What does prep work involve?

Cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and holes, caulking gaps, repairing damaged drywall or wood surfaces, masking edges and trim, and covering floors and furniture with drop cloths. For exteriors, we pressure-wash first and allow surfaces to dry fully before applying any coating. A flawless finish starts with prep. We don’t rush it.

How long does a typical painting project take?

A few interior rooms can typically be completed in three to four days. A full exterior repaint generally takes 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the building’s size and the weather. Larger commercial or strata projects are scoped individually. Paint needs time to cure properly, not just dry on the surface. That distinction matters for how long the professional finish holds.

When is the best time for exterior painting in Whistler?

Late spring through early fall, roughly May to October, is the optimal window for exterior painting services in Whistler, BC. Temperatures must be consistently above 10 degrees Celsius, and surfaces must be dry. Interior painting is available year-round.
